24g Resun DMs 500

Hi All,

 

Just thought i would introduce myself and my tank to this forum, this is my first aquarium and my first post on this site so be kind. The tank has been up and running for about 4 months.

 

The tank is a Resun DMS 500, think it is the same as the Interpet River reef.

24g with 4 rear chambers currently with

1. filter floss

2. Ceramic rings, carbon and rowaphos

3. Skimmer

4. Pump and usually the heater.

 

livestock is 2 clowns, 2 green chromis, a peppermint shrimp, 2 blue leg and 1 zebra hermits. 5 turbos, 3 stomatellas and a featherduster(hitchhikers)

 

Only have a few Corals they are a frag of Zoa's a Ricordia and a leather toadstool. also some hitchhiker coral which i hope somebody could identify, would be good.

 

anywho thats all for now folks.

Just a quick update, just to add a few photos, could anyone id the red coral growth on the rock and the green

seaweed type plant?, in the first photo.

Just a quick update with a few more photos.

 

NewJet 1200 added as the resun pump gave up playing.

New Recruit added a south seas devil/ fiji blue Damsel named Wee Jimmy.

 

Also added a photo of Hannibal the Canibal hermit crab only surviver of the origial crabs added.

Quick update, New additions a purple gorgonian and a malu anemone which the clownfish won't go near so far. So any suggestions welcome?

 

The Anemone seems to have settled in ok is eating mysis shrimp, and has found a spot it likes and not moving around the tank.

 

Looking at setting up my quarentine tank up as a new tank its an aquaone 320, hope to get this done over the next few weeks need to do some small mods to it first though. Probably only for a yellow goby and possible frags.
