its been a while! i took things really slow and im really happy with the tank. learning more and more by lurking on all the forums. made the switch from the hydra back to my fave, a kessil 360WE. couldnt be happier with the light. spread is a lot better and the color and shimmer is amazing. here's a gang of pics! thanks for lookin!

clowns. they were hosting the zoas then the female jumped one night i replaced her with a smaller premium black ice clown.

added a screen top from brs, added a midas blenny and yellow eye kole tang. after a couple months the blenny still made it through the top. he was a great fish! kole tang dropped dead outta nowhere after a month or two. sucks, i loved those fish and they were doin well!

tried out a green BTA. it was doin great and then crawled under a rock...i dunno what happened but im a lazy reefer so im guessing params got outta wack and it wasnt happy. got rid of it when it started to die off.

recently did a three day lights out trial to get rid of nasty red slime cyano i had. it was terrible. lights out worked great!

finally got my fave fish, a female leopard wrasse! also added a bicolor blenny.

most recent pics with the kessil on...the light is amazing. currently acclimating so its on a short 5 hour schedule at about 50% intensity. the color spectrum is perfect at any point on the dial. i cant wait for their controller to come out. i heard its scheduled for an august release date. anyone heard anything else? id love to be the guinea pig for that controller!

since i started ive just been focusing on daily reef keeping chores. i think ive got the hang of it now and the tank is lookin good IMO. i think im ready for some more expensive colorful corals and even though its not much im really enjoying the tank.

mine was picky for about a week then joined the pellet club. probably the luckiest i've every gotten with anything in this hobby: a leopard wrasse that ate pellets within a week...

yoo thanks mang! love your tank! just use a screen top and take it off for those dope pics of yours! youll stop stressin about your clown and whatever wrasse you pick up
