    Fast worms in tank

hey guys. A few days ago when feeding my candy cane coral and small worm, least I think it was a worm I didn’t get a good look because it was so fast, stold a piece of food off the coral and disappeared back into a hole. It was very fast. Faster than I’ve seen a bristle worm move. I Fw dipped the rock and the coral because I was afraid of bobbits. I saw many bristle worms and pods come out of the rock dead. I didn’t see whatever ate the food assuming it was a worm. I have previously seen small white worms try to take pellets from the coral but they didn’t move that fast when I watched. Should I be worried about bobbits? I have had the rock for 7+ years. I just changed my tabk to a biocube 32 Gal led. Didn’t add any more rock and only recent addition was the candy cane, a drag with two heads cut directly from the mother coral not on a coral plug. Should I be scared of bobbits? Rock and Cora is below. Coral total size is about the diameter of a quarter. Rock is maybe baseball size
  2. Hi, this is my first time posting here and I am wandering what sort if worm this is ( sorry the photo is bad) and whether it's bad or not and if so, the best way to get rid of it. I got up this morning and saw it. When I turned the aquarium light on, it seemed to try and slink back. This is my first marine set-up although I've had cold and tropical fresh water fish for years. Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
  3. These little anemone looking things with white dots at the center and little fingers around it popped up all over my new live rock on the coralline algae. Anyone got an id? I can’t find anything online.

    Flatworms?

Good Afternoon Everyone, I have a few of these yellow/blue looking worms on the aquarium glass. I have done the internet search and made best efforts to narrow down what Worm/Larvae these possibly could be. I am leaning towards flatworm at the moment but can only identify a rounded head u like the shovel shape of a planarian. My sixline is picking at things from the rockwork as usual but I haven’t seen him go for anything on the glass yet. Has anyone experienced these little critters before or have any idea what they are before I go and dump chemicals into the system to fight flatworms?

what kind of worms are these??

hi, I was just doing a water change and as I was gravel vac-ing I noticed something go up, and as I checked my bucket water I see this little reddish transparent worm. I'm freaking out because I don't know what it is? is it a bristleworm? is it good or bad? as I look through that same area I keep finding them. I think I found like 6 or 7 total. I'm keeping them in a little container until I find out if they're good or bad. some were big like around 1 inch long and then some were smaller like babies. please let me know what to do with these. even if they are bad I would feel so bad killing an innocent creature 😞 I know, call me stupid. thanks in advance.

    Cycling tank; critters

I'm currently cycling a tank with live sand/rock and I've spotted some life in the tank. I have no idea what they are except for a feather duster I saw earlier today. I've attached a picture below; the blue is part of the sand; the little life form is dark yellow/brown with the dark strip running down the middle.

    New clown problems

Hey Guys. I am new on this forum, so I will introduce myself first. My name is Jan and I am from holland (so excuse me for my English I hope it will suffice). After reading a lot for months I finally dived in the saltwater world. I have over 30 years of freshwater experience and always wanted my own reef tank. Now time permits so... you guys will understand. As always I prepared very well (at least in my opinion), but I still encountered a problem. My tank is a 30 gallon which is up and running for two months now and was cycled using Red Sea Reef Mature. My parameters were steady for several weeks and about one week ago I bought my first clownfish. Two beautiful clownfish (first generation tank bred). After introducing them in my tank the small one ate directly but the larger one was a bit afraid. The day after I fed them again and since then the larger one is eating like a pig and the smaller one is not reacting to whatever I introduce. (Pellet food, brine shrimp, mysis and a marine mix freezer food) the first day I noticed some white feces by both clowns however I never saw this again. (Stress?) After gathering a lot of information over the last week I bought prazipro (which takes 10 days to arrive at my doorstep). Do you guys have any suggestions what I should do. At first I hoped he was just to nervous to eat but now I think something is wrong. Especially since the larger one is behaving perfectly! My parameters are: zero amonia zero nitrite 2 nitrate salinity is 35 Temp 26 degrees Celsius kh around 10 ca 450 mg 1400 i know I made a big mistake by not quaranteening the fish. Believe me... this will NEVER happen again. So the second question I have is: what meds should I use when quaranteening a new fish. Thank you guys in advance!
