So I have had my evo since they first came out back in the middle of 2016 and recently I noticed some of my lights went out. Contacted fluval and they sent me a new light under warranty. It appears to be slightly different and the ledโs seem to be better protected...... problem was that the freaking new light wouldnโt even turn on ๐. Fluval is sending me another one that should arrive today so hopefully that one actually works. But wanted to share some pics of the new light. The old one is on the right, new one on the left. Also the connectors are better and have a tighter fit

I am currently in the midst of setting up an old 14-gallon bio-cube (still waiting on the pump and new aragonite to arrive). I already have a pair of oceallaris clowns that have been in an anemone basket for the past 8 months that will be ready for the tank once its setup but I would like other fish as well, my current ideas for a stock list are as follows: The pair of clowns Royal Gramma Basslet Hector(or Court Jester)Goby hire and Cleaner Shrimp THan assorted softies(hopefully rock flowers and mini maxis) and Zoas/Palys I am currently running a 50/50 pc and a blue actinic(I think) pc with plans to upgrade to a retrofit aqua sb, for flow a (Marineland) Mj900 with a rotating outflow head. (still waiting on ๐ )

Well, I just had to have the Fluval Sea Evo V. ####. I hate it (so far) as much as I love the Fluval Sea Evo VII. I am going to do an experiment. I'm going to leave absolutely everything stock. No upgrades. I can't do it. The flow is horrible. Fluval should be ashamed. I ordered the Aqueon Whisper Quiet 600 and will mod it. The only thing I've done is take out the included filter sponge and carbon and thrown in a ChemiPure Blue nano sachet and some polyfil. The pump leaves so, so much to be desired. Imagine a two year old kicking his legs in a swimming pool - that's the kind of flow you get with this thing. Even if I wanted to upgrade there's not a submersible pump that will fit in the tiny compartment. So, I envision tons of mushrooms, ricordea, leathers, zoas, cloves, and toadstools. A tiny fish - one - some sort of goby. Maybe two if I can swing a yellow watchman for the bottom and a green goby for the top. Inverts, too. Some that I don't have in my big tank - emerald crab? Purple lobster thing. Will research to see if I can do a rock flower anemone. May make it a garden.

Potential based on what I've seen/like: green torch coral pulsing xenia Montipora capricornis (red) candy cane Green Star Polyps (to cover black wall of tank) frogspawn 2 clowns 2 tiny hermit crabs 1 nassarius snail I'm still reading a lot about coral and what can be combined with what and how and where. However, I would like to know which of the stuff that I mentioned above is reasonable. I don't plan on adding anything (beside fish) anytime soon. I want to take my time and learn my way around all this reef stuff lol
