I have a little bit of a situation lol Someone just molted and think he can rock the big shell how do I get him out lol The shell is why too big for him idk what he's thinking it's also wedged in there so he can't move it. Also it has one of my mushrooms on it.

So I got two hermit crabs a about a month maybe two months ago. Everything fine one was really active the other just lazed around. About a week ago the active one started changing shells. He tried three or four of them in the span of a couple days but ended up back in his old shell. I came in today and he was out of his dead. I don’t know what could of caused him to die. I have everything how it should be and the other one is doing just fine. He is even more active not by much he still just lazes around but he is outside his little house more. What could have caused him to die?

Hey guys, I have a few questions about hermit crabs. Please don’t judge me, I just need information please. I have 4 hermit crabs, I’ve had them for around 2-3 weeks and I love them so much. I’ve been reading information about them and I’ve come across some pages that say they need to molt into new shells, and that the tank keeper needs to buy shells and put them inside the tank. Can somebody give me some more information on this? If I do need to buy some shells, can anyone tell me a good place to buy them, and how many I should buy for 4 hermit crabs? 2 of them are pretty large, and 2 of them are much smaller. Thanks in advance.

Guys... Am I looking at what I think I'm looking at?... This dude has been cruising around the tank for weeks without a shell. I looked around to see if there was an empty shell in there but I couldn't find one! At this point, my marbles have 100% been lost.
