Hey guys!...I need some help with experienced reefers...the 2 torch that I have all have their tentacles retracted and it’s been like that for over a week now....for the past month, everything I add in a torch, for the first few days their tentacles extends very well but after a few days it stays retracted and never fully extend and I can’t figure out why...any help would be appreciated....I have tried reducing the light intensity and all but still can’t fix the problem... $300 shipped to lower 48 and paypal fees covered. Everything works as it should. I got this light in a tank breakdown, so no box. The guy who ran it said he bought it new and ran it for 6 months. I called Ecotech, MFG date is 12/2017. You can call them yourselves to confirm if need be. I'm a Kessil guy myself so I just have no use for this. Thanks for looking!

Hello, I have a new cycle cycled aquarium. I added two clown fish, 5 snails, live sand, live rock, a fluval filter. Also, I have 2 corals added in, and I will like to know if I will need protein skimmers or special lighting. Or just in general what kind of equipment to keep the corals happy.

Hi, I know the technical specs and differences from one and the other and LEDs are the future for sure, but I've been told that T5HOs are better to grow and propagate corals than a comparable LED fixture. Can someone tell me the why?
