Nanobox retrofit kit for sale. It has two heat sinks with three v3 arrays mounted in each, so a total of 6. I had it mounted in my 36” ati sunpower. I’m sure the heats could be cut down to fit a 24” fixture. Controlled by bluefish mini. Only ran for about 2 months at 50%. Asking $500 shipped

VIDEO: Build the Perfect Reef Light with the Giesemann Stellar Hybrid Mount Your Favorite LEDs from EcoTech, AI, and Giesemann! -
Some of you guys may recognize my old build thread, and remember that I was contemplating changing my system to a Reefer 170. I ended up going a different route, settling on a Ultum Nature Systems 60U. I've spent the past few weeks assembling a stand, building a new sump (with a frag compartment), and figuring out how to incorporate a doser system into my tank. I unfortunately suffered some coral STN/die-off after a huge bacterial bloom halfway into working on my new stand, but fortunately the bloom resolved and the corals are slowly recovering. Accidentally broke Mame, picked up ELOS MIDI as current tank. Stand: (45Lx24Wx30H) Assembled from 2x Ikea SEKTION Cabinets (Veddinge White) with Birch-White Washed Butcher Block Tank: Ultum Nature System 60U (~24x14x14) with frosted background ELOS MIDI Flow: -2 MP10s on Long Pulse Mode Sump: Repurposed Mr. Aqua 11.4G -Ice-Cap K250 -Sicce 2.0 Return Pump -Innovative Marine Desktop Reactor (80ml Carbon) -Tunze Nano ATO Frag Tank: De-rimmed 6Gallon Fluval Edge -El cheapo return pump and powerhead Lighting: -ATI 4x24W Powermodule: 2C+, 1B+, 1 Giesemann Super Purple -Nanobox Duo for Frag Tank (100% Blue, 33% White) -Nanobox Mini for Chaeto/Refugium (100% Blue, 30% White) Dosing: -Marine Magic Doser CoralBox Wifi Doser with Aquaforest Component 1, 2, 3 Tank: Reefer 170 Sump: Reefer 170 Sump Flow: 4 MP10s Filtration: Ice-Cap K250 Skimmer: Only on 8 hours a day Skimz Chaeto Reactor MBR127: 12 hour photoperiod Purigen Bag - Passive Filtration Live Rock Seachem Matrix Rubble Lighting: Nanobox-ATI Hybrid. 4x T5 bulbs and 4x NBR Arrays Doser: Coralbox Wifi 4 Headed Doser with the following liquids dosed throughout the day ATI Essentials Pro 1 & 2 EasyBooster Phyto NYOS Goldpods and NYOS Chromys Maintenance: Thanks to the NYOS Goldpods and NYOS Chromys, I no longer manually feed my tank. I've been autofeeding the tank with calanus and mysis for the past 3 months without issue. My main maintenance is to clean off the glass (every 1-2 days), empty the skimmer cup (every 1-2 weeks) and trim chaeto (every month or so). Otherwise, I just have to refill the ATO and replace the dosing solutions when they get low. The system is super low maintenance. So, putting together another 20 long this will b lps, softie only I have a 2 bulb t5, and a rapid led 700 Nano driver on a 1.5” wide heatsink that fits perfectly up against the t5 once mounted. The light will mount directly on tank-3-4” above water. So par is of no concern w this shallow tank. I want a blue heavy tank for lps & Zoas led is blue w 2) violet 420-430 led. T5 recommendations???

Currently I have single ocean revive LED fixture over my 40 gallon breeder and I am not quite happy with the coverage. After seeing the new T5 LED hybrid that recently came out it seems like it would be easy to make the same thing. I was thinking of getting two T5 fixtures (probably 24 or 30 inch) and making a mount/holder using angle aluminum. Should be pretty easy. The other option for about the same cost would be purchasing a second ocean revive fixture to get better coverage. Any opinions on which would be better? Currently I have some zoas, green monti, green acro, hammer coral, and some basic acan frags. I want to go with whichever options allows the most variety and mixed reef options. Any thoughts?! Thanks!

36" DIY Hybrid LED/T5HO Fixture, 36" LED strips - $225 - LOCAL PICKUP ONLY
Kylebeano posted a topic in Hardware Classifieds
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY PLEASE, in SWFL, NOT SHIPPING! Used DIY hybrid reef light, made of a 6 bulb Tek T5ho fixture, and replaced two bulbs with a current orbit marine LED light (~36w). The bulbs are 39w, 2 x ATI blue plus, an aquablue special, and giesemann super actinic. This is a really great blend of color with the LEDs and has produced awesome coral growth and colors. The LED is controlled with the current ramp pro timer, can mimic sunrise and sunset. The T5 can be put on timers to come on in pairs of two in between. Really great feature for only $225! The bulbs still have 6 months of life left in them, I just moved and downsized tanks. The light was mounted about 14" above my fish tank, no splash guard, has a little surface rust, but it is a sound fixture. Please email above or call/text 850-570-1423. Images are of MY coral grown under this light, including SPS, crocea clam, anemone. All flourished! Two used 36" LED light strips. One unknown brand actinic only, quality reflector, so might be ecoexotic or reef tech. The other is a dimmable BML (Build my LED) full spectrum light with splash guard/diffuser. Both come with power supplies. I bought them used a year ago but never got around to using them, now i moved and downsized my aquarium. These would be great supplementation to a T5 fish tank light, or can grow coral in a shallow enough tank (<20"). Selling BOTH INCLUDED with the hybrid fixture. Please PM or call/text 850-570-1423. Thank you. -
