This morning my peppermint shrimp died. When I picked the body up to inspect it I also noticed that it had just started molting as the part of the molt was next to it. In the head I noticed a hole right in front of the body part (hole right in front of where you would take the head of of a market shrimp) that was the only place I could see damage. I have a labout’s wrasse, 2 clowns and 1 purple fire fish. One of my theories is that a fish attacked him whilst vulnerable another one is that it hit head on sharp bit of rock and put a perfect squar shaped hole and my last theorie is that died trying to molt and snail ate part of him. sorry for my bad spelling

cooling down 45L water tank as cold as possible? (for no more than $200)
mro posted a topic in DIY Projects
Hi, what is an economical way to cool water in a 45L tank? i want the water to be as cold as possible. now the water temperature is 35c. - if i get a cheap water cooler like this one, then connect the cold outlet to the tank and put a water pump in the tank and send it back to the water cooler? if yes, can you help explain it? - or, these cheap aquarium coolers , are they useful? how low can they get the water down, if it is 35c ? - another way? -

So i have had a Clarkii Clown in my BC32 solo for a week, then added a skunk cleaner shrimp a week later, now Clarkii has been in for two weeks, one with shrimp, ordered and received a dispar anthias from LiveAquaria (they were great, fish arrived in perfect condition) acclimated for a few hours then released, clarkii was interested in him with the occasional nip at the bag, nothing much. Clarkii instantly started attacking the anthias upon release and was trying to rip fins off. i turned the lights off for the evening and overnight, to no avail. Still relentlessly attacking, so i put clarkii in "jail"(tupperware with holes attached to surface so no more attacking) i ordered a clear box for this purpose, itll be here the 26. im going to keep him there for a week, then try again. If that doesn't work i'm going to re-do my aquascape to remove Clarkii's territory. Any other Tips for reducing this aggression. (If worst comes to worst then i will remove the clarkii, as much as i love him, i want a full tank of fish) Help plz
