    Fluval evo jumble

I’ve been a long time nano reef creeper, but never put my own tanks online. just recently (January 2021) picked up a fluval evo and downsized my whole marine collection into only that nano to try and reboot my love for the hobby.. this is my resurrection if you will! I’m in England - if that makes a difference. my plan was to buy this low end all in one tank and just run it stock (except for media). But within a week of buying it I’d pretty much gotten rid of everything apart from the tank! started with: fluval evo live rock Tmc eco sand d flow filter baskets 1&2 tunze 1073.008 pump (never used stock pump) Eheim heater 2 x 1/4” random flow generators aqua one radiance 3 unit (my back up LED that I keep around. deciding on upgrade at mo) considering adding: top up - there isn’t a lot of room for it skimmer - undecided which. Do not want it in the first chamber where the purpose built one would normally go jump guard / lid heater controller Wave maker pic from beginning of February 2021

    Need help with torch corals!

Hey guys!...I need some help with experienced reefers...the 2 torch that I have all have their tentacles retracted and it’s been like that for over a week now....for the past month, everything I add in a torch, for the first few days their tentacles extends very well but after a few days it stays retracted and never fully extend and I can’t figure out why...any help would be appreciated....I have tried reducing the light intensity and all but still can’t fix the problem... Mystery Euphillia

So I recently bought this coral, it was being sold as a cristata but it lacks the shaped-pronounced skeleton and has polyps which look more like tiny hammers. The heads are full-grown at about 1/2-2/3" wide with a relatively large mouth. I have no idea what on Earth this coral is, but was told it is a fast grower and frankly I think it looks great and will be perfect in a nano-tank setting with its' small-size, bizarre-compact-and-bushy growth pattern, and daisy-shaped heads. That said, has anyone bumped into a coral like this before?
  4. Hey Nano reef! So long story short, due to a long distance move to phoenix via plane, I have been forced to break down all my tanks, and sell my corals and fish. while I was selling my coral, I had noticed while I was getting ready to sell a coral, about a 1/4" from my octospawn, I saw 1 of its little tentacles on the ground, I know it wasnt nipped or injured, and the tentacle still has it's coloring well fast forward 24 hrs, and none of the scavengers ate it overnight, and it still has it's color, has anyone heard of this happening? I assume it cant split from that and I have no idea how the tentacle dropped. thanks in advance!
