So I got a 26g “all-in-1” tank from cobalt, and I have 2 very small percula clownfish in it, they’re scaring me because it seems they take a lot of stress under the filters strength. I have 2 heaters one on each side and a lot of rockscape (almost too much tbh) and about 2-3 inches of sand. Nothing else. The clowns do do the notorious figure 8 when it’s not on but when it is on they seem to be just non stop swimming. They’ve been in there for about 3 days. They’re roughly 2 inches each

Hi Fellow Reefers! Long time listener first time caller here... I have been reading about you guys and your awesome tanks for over a year now! I started out with an evo13.5, then upgraded to an RSM130d, then recently downgraded back to an eco13.5! My last tank was a beautiful LPS dominated tank, but life has changed recently and I had to downsize tanks to reduce the maintenance regime and not have to spend as much time tinkering. That brings us to my current tank setup! I had never done a bare bottom tank before, and I like the idea of not having a sanded to have to vacuum all the time and I also like the clean minimalist look of it. About a month into this tank being setup now and gotta say, not sure if I could go back to having a sand bed again! I had researched quite a bit looking for an example of a nano-tank that was nems-only, or BTA only, but couldn't find any! So I decided to go ahead and try my luck. I started with a large piece of LR from my RSM tank that had 7 BTA's on it already. Sucked out the water from that tank and tossed in the rock! So far, with me being able to focus solely on the BTA's and keep up with a good feeding schedule, they are really thriving in this smaller tank. Here is a quick equipment list: Tank: Fluval Evo 13.5 Flow: Aquamai KPS Pump: Stock Light: Current Orbit Marine Pro ATO: Tunze Heater: Fluval 50watt Filtration: Stock foam block with bio balls and bag of purigen Extra Filtration: Small media reactor running carbon Lid: DIY lid cut out of diffuser material Livestock: 7 rainbow BTA's 2 ocellaris clowns 6 or 7 assorted snails I had originally bought the small reactor off amazon along with a spool of LED lights with the intention of making an algae reactor... But after reading horror stories of the reactor tube cracking due to heat from lights, I have yet to pull the trigger on it... In the mean time, running carbon in the media reactor has really worked well! I have never cleaned the glass yet due to algae and my water is crystal clear! I do a 4 gal W/C every week too. Anyways I just wanted to share what I was up to and get some of your feedback! Is there anything you see that I could improve? Are there any suggestions you guys may have? I humbly open up my n00by setup to your judgement and advice! Thanks for looking!

36" DIY Hybrid LED/T5HO Fixture, 36" LED strips - $225 - LOCAL PICKUP ONLY
Kylebeano posted a topic in Hardware Classifieds
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY PLEASE, in SWFL, NOT SHIPPING! Used DIY hybrid reef light, made of a 6 bulb Tek T5ho fixture, and replaced two bulbs with a current orbit marine LED light (~36w). The bulbs are 39w, 2 x ATI blue plus, an aquablue special, and giesemann super actinic. This is a really great blend of color with the LEDs and has produced awesome coral growth and colors. The LED is controlled with the current ramp pro timer, can mimic sunrise and sunset. The T5 can be put on timers to come on in pairs of two in between. Really great feature for only $225! The bulbs still have 6 months of life left in them, I just moved and downsized tanks. The light was mounted about 14" above my fish tank, no splash guard, has a little surface rust, but it is a sound fixture. Please email above or call/text 850-570-1423. Images are of MY coral grown under this light, including SPS, crocea clam, anemone. All flourished! Two used 36" LED light strips. One unknown brand actinic only, quality reflector, so might be ecoexotic or reef tech. The other is a dimmable BML (Build my LED) full spectrum light with splash guard/diffuser. Both come with power supplies. I bought them used a year ago but never got around to using them, now i moved and downsized my aquarium. These would be great supplementation to a T5 fish tank light, or can grow coral in a shallow enough tank (<20"). Selling BOTH INCLUDED with the hybrid fixture. Please PM or call/text 850-570-1423. Thank you. -

Selling my 24'' Current Marine Orbit PRO VERSION. Used for 2 months, with blues @60%, whites @ 30% on my 20 long. I decided I missed the t5 & went back. This light does very well, all frags grew in size & colored up nicely. Im just old school I guess & missed my t5's. My next tank will be bigger so I have no use for this light. Comes w/ everything, ramp timer, remote, instructions, original box. $150 including shipping.
