  5. So I built a small tank, the display outflow leads to the scrubber (which is removable) and it is a bit loud. Does anyone have any suggestions on shutting it up? lol. Flow rate of 160 gph between 2 3/4" unrestricted bulkhead fittings with 3/4" loc-line ending in 90° loc-line that top feeds into a modified 1.25" pvc tube that contains the scrubber. Many thanks, pics to come.

  10. Hello guys, these questions are for those who uses algae scrubber for years now. can an algae scrubber work if its your only filtration method? I'm thinking of setting up a new tank with an algae scrubber as its main filtration system beside mechanical filtration and live rocks only. Would that work? the setup will be.. 55 gallon reef tank 20 gallon sump with LR, mech filter, and 12"x 16" algae scrubber. circulation pump heater no skimmer, no reactors. any idea if this will work? thanks a bunch
