    Neon goby breeding signs?

Hello! I have an established saltwater tank with a neon blue goby I’ve had for probably 4-6 months now. I got a neon orange goby today (it’s a 30 gallon with plenty of live rock so I thought they would have room to get away from each other), and while feeding I noticed they were staying close to each other & would follow each other. The blue goby would get very close to the orange one, sometimes stir up some sand, and they would both wait. One would go into a cave and the other would follow, then a moment later they’d come out again. It doesn’t look like fighting to me, no nipping or anything. Just wondering if this is a sign of (attempted) breeding? They’re different species and I know it’s difficult to breed them. Any ideas?

    Fish not hatching

So my neon gobies laid eggs 3 weeks ago and the babies have not hatched, any idea what happened? I’m using natural incubation with parents
  3. Hi all! I have started to breed saltwater fish since this year june, and so far all i have are a pair of neon gobies. I will be starting banggais by the end of the year. Here is my list of fish that i plan on breeding! chalk bass banggai cardinals neon gobies blackray shrimp gobies royal grammas The caribbean fish are expensive around my area, so i plan on supplying shops for cheap! I will post photos later
  4. So i have a pair of neon gobies in a 20 gallon and have been attempting to breed them. My water temp is about 84F is that too high? It has been a few months and all the closest to breeding ive gotten to was just the female hiding in a cave for 8hrs
  5. Hello Everyone, I've got a 19 gallon (24''L 16''H 12''W) and I'd like to stock it with captive bred fish and cultured corals only. It has been running for almost 3 months and I've got an Ocellaris pair at the moment. I'm thinking of adding a Neon Goby. Not many cb fish are available in my area but I could get my hands on a couple other goby species (elecatinus puncticulatus) and many Pseudochromis. Could I add an Orchid Dottyback in this tank? From what I read I understand its the most peaceful among Pseudochromis. Here's an FTS Thanks
