Well I got the bug again. I’ve been browsing Craigslist for the last year or so looking for that perfect little nano reef with good equipment and some nice coral when I found this fluval AIO 25gal. It came with a Radion xr15 pro gen 3, tunze nano ATO, Tunze skimmer 9004 and some cheapo flow pumps which I promptly replaced with a Vortech mp10. I picked the tank up about 9 months ago with the naive plan to keep it simple not get crazy with the SPS like my last tank. This lasted about a month or two and I slowly started adding some easier Montipora and a birds nest. Then I added a GHL SA doser 2.1 dosing pump and another flow pump and a couple Acropora. Then I came across a used JBJ 45 Rimless which I decided I had to have. I built a stand out of reclaimed cypress from an old New Orleans house that got demolished. The tank sits down in my basement office and helps to brighten a dark corner. My next project will be to remove the false wall and drill the back to accept an overflow so I can convert this from an AIO to a conventional reef with a sump and larger skimmer. Thanks for looking! This is how it looks now My newest addition. Not sure if it has a name I believe it’s a maricultured Acropora not sure what variety though. I’m hoping it keeps coloring up with those blue and purple highlights. My last reef was a 150gal AGE 60x30x20
