  1. Make moving Your Corals safe and Secure! The Transporter That Does Double Duty! So What makes this Coral Transporter special you might ask, well let me tell you the reasons why. First of all this coral Transporter has room for 8 coral frag plugs, inside each cutout there is a special membrane inside to lock your frags in place. No more scattered frags when you use this transporter! Let’s look at the stem/handle of the frag rack itself, made from a solid core of acrylic that is screwed and glued to the base, this is a solid piece of gear! The lid of the Frag transporter is also special with its internal gasket that will have your corals locked in safe and sound, no more worries about leaks! Another great benefit of the cutouts and membrane holder is that it can accommodate multiple different sized frag plugs! Gone are those days of the frag plug that just won’t fit. And last but most certainly not least the Frag Transporter can pull double duty with the Magnet Mount Accessory! That’s right, with the Magnet Mount Accessory you can take your frags from the transporter, leave them in the holder and place them into the Mount , then straight into your aquarium!! While we are at it why don’t we see what others have to say about this awesome system! Lets look at a few more! https://www.reef2rainforest.com/2020/02/14/new-icecap-coral-frag-transport-container/ NOT SATISFIED YET?!?????? Check this out! https://reefs.com/2020/05/14/new-st...transport-container-magnetic-frag-tray-mount/ I believe the Jury is in on the New IceCap Coral Frag Transporter and Magnet Mount Accessory , we have a winner.... or in this case GUILTY AS CHARGED FOR BEING AWESOME , INNOVATIVE,AND BEING BUILT RIGHT!
  2. Starting a series of NanoRox product highlights. So getting right to it...today I am highlighting the NanoRox Frag Wall. The Frag Wall hold 4 frag plugs and includes 2 sets of neodymium magnets (fully waterproof). The Frag Wall measures 8 in x 6 in and is perfect as a backdrop to your live rock. In fact, when positioned properly it can give the illusion of additional live rock in your nano lending greater depth to your reefscape. If you would like to learn more about the Frag Wall and about NanoRox in general, check out the website at www.nanorox.com. To purchase the frag wall, click here. If you have not already, please follow me @nanorox1 over on Instagram. Happy Reefing!
  3. So I went to the LFS for some freshwater supplies and of course had to look at corals and like many of us came home with a few more things then intended. Anyways had some SPS frags and some mushrooms that were not attached to anything that came home. Then with my little 20g had no room and was in desperate need of a frag rack. Found OceanBoxDesigns.com and decided to order the large frack stick that holds 8 a few singles and most importantly the shroom box. Messaged the owner because i wanted them overnighted and he was able to hook me up. The racks are great. Magnets are super strong and haven’t budged holding several LPS and SPS frags. Takes up very little room in my novo 20 and actually allows me to keep a close eye on growth for some of the new ones. The Shroom box is what really impressed me the most though. I got the mini which is 4″x4″ and it has been great. keeps my shrooms out of a container on my sand bed which i no longer have room for and can adjust the height easily to acclimate to lighting as desired. The 4 magnets are holding the box with several larger pieces of rubble with no problem. The box allows plenty of water in but the flow does not move the shrooms around from where i have them placed. They have all since expanded nicely and the box is actually not bad to look at either. also purchased two of the single frag racks which I’m planning to space out some GPS on the rear chamber wall to help get is spreading in multiple spots at a time. Anyways no affiliation with the company or the owner just a nice guy with a good product and amazing customer service. If your in need or want a really nice frag rack definitely check out his site.

    Built in frag racks

Greetings, first post here. I have a red sea max 130d with Steve's led upgrade. I have drilled it and I want to keep most of my rock in the sump and go for a really clean look in the display to be used primarily for coral growth. I Am planning on using acrylic to make my own frag racks. I wonder if it is possible to use silicon to put some frag racks into the tank before it has water in it. I'm thinking two triangle shapes in the back corners. I have a scrap piece left over from another project that is currently too big to get it parralel to the ground, but i am thinking it maybe will tilt forward a bit. Maybe a solid 2 inch piece along the back. Can anyone here give me good reason why I shouldn't do this. Tips encouraged.
