  1. That's one neat looking set-up. Nice to see something different, good luck!
  2. I really like the natural look with all the algae, very nice to see! Good luck with the tank. πŸ˜‰
  3. I did a second 25 percent waterchange (in 10 days) yesterday and couldn't help to put some small easy frags in the tank, as well as my blue legged hermitcrab.. 😊 And I believe that we've reached the brown-algea phase: I still really like the reefscape, so that's going to survive I think. I'm running a very easy setup right now, with only a Hydor Slim Skimmer, return pump and a heater. Hopefully I can add a Aqua Medic Refill System Pro within a few days.
  4. Let's hope so.! It looked very clean in the pictures and it will be nice to see if the ricordea covered the stones. @Hopperdoggy
  5. Very nice looking little tank, the 'odd-8'-shaped rock really gives that extra thing. πŸ™‚
  6. The cabinet is also finished. Because of the wooden frame inside the cabinet, I had to place the doors the other way around, which looks a bit funny. But it does work and that's most important to me. And a sideview picture:
  7. I like the look on this tank. Not too much crazy things, just a solid looking tank. πŸ˜‰ What light are you using for the cheato?
  8. Ooow, that is really different and looking very natural, excellent! 😊
  9. Building and reinforcing the cabinet went really well today and in the early afternoon I was ready to fill the tank with water! After that, I was (of course) thrilled to fill the tank with the live rock and the aquascaping went really smooth. Although it is a lot of rock, I am really pleased with the result. The red 'cone-thing' is gone already.
  10. One of the most exciting things in reefing, getting live rock for the tank and this was the day! I know it's a lot of rock for a 21 gallon tank, but I have something special in mind for the aquascape. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to built and reinforce the cabinet and get things started. I also made a VERY awkward unboxing video! πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚
  11. So much good things in this short topic, keep the pictures coming up! πŸ˜„ The only thing I'm not sure off are the 'leaves' in the tank, I think it makes it look like a bit messy. But other than that, great workd and hope to see more from this one soon! Ps. I really like the UK, hope it remains fairly the same after the 'Brexit'. πŸ˜‰
  12. I like the clean look of it, allthough mostly I am a fan of the natural looking reef tanks But plenty of room for some nice corals to grow. πŸ˜‰ For the aquascape, maybe you could try to put the left stone diagonal against the standing stone. I think it would be interesting to see how that works out. πŸ™‚
