  1. Why are they so steeply discounted? Are these the same as the Innovative Marine tanks here in the U.S. ?
  2. There's nothing wrong with taking the time to do it right.
  3. Thanks! It's a modded AC-110. It looks particularly large because the tank is only 9.1 gallons. I'm gonna leave the schmootz on the glass to see if my cuc will eat whatever it is. I don't think it's diatoms, but it's also not cyano as far as I can tell so I'm not sure what it its. I think your tank looks pretty great! Lots of stuff looks really happy. Thanks for posting.
  4. @Friendly What type of colorblindness do you have? (I.E. Red-green, Blue-yellow or total? Possibly other.) This could help people suggest stuff more accurately. What I will say is avoid API.
  5. I have not, but here is a gross sneak peek! It's finally done cycling I made some water today to do a ~50% water change tomorrow. Clean up crew in the next couple of days me thinks. Your tank can't be worse than this... right?
  6. You could invert the pillar so that the fat part is on the bottom and the skinny part is on top. This will give you a similar visual effect without the shadowing you currently have. (I don't wanna say I told ya so, but I told ya so ) Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to a few centimeters clearance from all sides of the rock to the tank. This should help to prevent detritus build up. It may be an optical illusion, but in the pic below it looks like some of the rock work is right up against the back wall. This fish are very cool! As long as they are not beating each other up to death I wouldn't worry about it too much. Thanks for the updates!
