  1. I never had any bad experiences with the cheap-o super glue from the dollar store, make sure you put a good heavy amount on the frag plug so it will hold on to the rock.

  3. I’m going through the same thing right now, have to send it in so they can check it and if it’s still under warranty they’ll ship me a new one or tell me how much to fix if it’s fixable.
  4. Yes their mats are a bit smaller than the tank that’s how they designed it, supposed to center under the tank that the front panel didn’t need it.
  5. I’m planing on keeping mostly zoas so that would probably work for it. My AI Prime is out of commision and AI said they can fix it for a price but I’d need to send it in first.
  6. Cool, I was looking at that light on amazon and the reviews look promising. You think it would be good on a 15 also? I have the 15 and won my brother the 4 from the waterbox Facebook page.
  7. You guys mind if I ask which light you’re using for the 4 gallon? I got a 4 gallon for my brother but don’t know which light to use.
  8. Sad to say but my AI has been put out if commision, it just wont reset so I can connect it to my WiFi and I have tried everything to reset even spoke to AI about it but nothing worked. It’s also out of warranty so I’m out on that route as well. anyone have any suggestion on a good light for the 15 gallon cube? Should I just go with another AI? also, my brother won a 4 gallon cove from Glassbox so we’re also hunting for a light for it as well. all suggestions welcome.
  9. It’s all filled and running for now to start the cycle, heater will be moved and replaced just couldn’t find the one I was looking for in my area so I’ll check another town soon.
  10. Thanks, I had made one before out of 1/2” square metal tubing I was thinking of doing it again.
  11. Well, the post says it was dead rock and live sand so I assumed it was mined and not reef ready. My mistake.
  12. If it’s been dead for a while you want to give it a good wash, I’m just seeing up my tank as well and will be washing all the rock I use with muriatic acid to make sure I kill everything since I had an algae outbreak before. Seems like the spores go dormant until they’re put back in the water again. As for lights on/off, I’m going with off. Glue the cheap-o dollar store super glue, 3 pack for a buck. Feeding every 2-3 days once cycled and stocked.
  13. Stand is finished and almost in its permanent place, tank put on top with self leveling mat under. Found my old Apex Jr. So put that in place hoping it will still work. Now need to make an arm for the AI Prime.
  14. I’m definitively not going to use the bioballs but would like to see about using that space as a micro-refiugium just have not thought of how. For stocking not yet just know I want to get some nice colors in it mostly zoas.
