Well....I finally decided it was time to share my tank with the world. This is my first plunge into saltwater. I have had the tank set up since July and have been slowly progressing to what you see today. Please feel free to let me know what you think.

Youre doing a kick-ass job for your first time. My first tank looked like one of those dying-coral-sale-bins at your local fish store. Keep it up.

what kind of sand is that and how much was it?

I picked it up at the LFS here in Dallas. Can't remember the brand name, but it was around $4 for a 5lb bag. I've got 10lbs of it. The stuff was definitely a pain---its almost as fine as baby powder---took a while to settle.
