My new Hydor prime 10 filter.

I've ran an eheim 2212 on an old 30-gallon FOWL that I had set-up in college, it did keep the tank looking great, although I had caulerpa in the tank to take up excess nitrates (which these filters will produce)

I just hooked up an eheim 2217 (much larger - about 2-gallon holding capacity) to my 24-gallon to pull everything out of the water before it can break down. This time I'm growing Halmedia in my display to export the extra nitrates - too soon to say if it's working well, but the algae film growing on the glass has gone away now for 3 days, and I was cleaning it every day.

that filter isnt on there anymore... it now has an eden 501 which is crappy really. That filters now on my VIA AQUA 15 GAL, it does a good job actually, the water is crystal clear.
