wow, mine is cycling, I have an original one, what's that thing in the bottom left corner? how much LR do you have?

One of the blue mushrooms fell off while i was rearranging so I placed it in a little medicine cup hoping it'll eventually attach to a small rock I placed in there. I am not sure how much live rock I have.. maybe 6-8lbs? I got like 3 or 4 pieces of LR from a friends already established tank. I think that may be the reason why my tank cycled so fast.
