NanoNoob Posted July 18, 2005 For all you tang police or (anal retentive) people out there.....I know that a tang should not be in a 20. However, this little guy is much better off in my tiny little 20 Gallon tank than the 2 gallon toilet bowel he was destined for. A friend of mine was moving and all he had left was this tang. He felt that the $10 offered to him by the LFS was not enough for this fish. He waited and waited until he had no more time to unload this fish. He offered to give it to me but of course I told him my tanks were too small. He then decided he would just flush it. I’m not an expert and I do not have my PHD in Tang justice, but I'm pretty sure he prefers where he is rather than where he was going to go. For the time being he is only about two inches long and is the long inhabitant at this time. When he gets bigger I will take him and trade him in on something else. So leave me and my tang alone and let me enjoy my fish. Thank you Quote Link to comment
szesteve Posted July 20, 2005 NanoNoob, I agree with what you have done. Although a 20 gallon is not advisable in the long run, but under such circumstances, it would benefit from where it is currently as compared to where it could have been. Quote Link to comment
MoonDark Posted July 20, 2005 Yeah , have it in the 20g , and when it grows, just sell it to a guy with a bigger tank and get some frags with the money Quote Link to comment

reffer9391 Posted February 4, 2006 I'll only let them go to 3in. before you trade him out flick. I agree I'd done the same thing, but at least you know thats not optamil conditions. Quote Link to comment
