5.5gallon under LEDs after about 1 month

now thats cool!! alot cheaper then a MH, using about a third the energy!! not to mention you'll probably never have to change the bulb lol or absoutly no heat issues!

BTW: how many LEDS are there total? How are the corals doing?

i've got 100 leds on the light fixture, and the corals are doing great, i started off with 4 mushrooms, and i have 7 after a month, the zoanthid starter i made has grown 5 new polyps in the past month, and all the other corals are doing better than i expected under the LED's

A recent problem that came up was with corrosion of the leds and the wires, i'm currently working on a better system, and for those of you who are trying the whole led thing, use waterproof boat paint to cover the solder points and the wires. It should reduce the rusting.
