how did you get that mantis? I am going to start up a small mantis tank and one like that would be awesome to have.

I got it from a guy on reefcentral.com's mantis forum. He shipped it to me and I reimbursed him. Go check it out, there's usually someone looking to offload a mantis or 2.

i still do not understand why people keep these as pets. they do nothing but bad for your tank.

In all the Galleries to date this is the best Captive mantis shrimp shot. All the LFS's have dull Grey or Green ones.

Vary interested in keeping one. If anyone has any information please PM me. I would like to know houseing, size, compatability, life span ect.
