I made it of a 15 gallon tank that belonged to my old 65 gallon as a sump and built the topper with hinges added two 65 watt PC's and on the glass cut two holes on a drill press to install two 1 3/4 inch bulkheads with a 3/4 thread used 2: 3/4" all thread nipples into the bulkheads with spears 3/4" 90's and some drain fittings I got from Aquatic Eco systems the systems is all PVC piped, as I never use hoses. The sump is a 10 gallon tank. I also grabbed my old Red Sea Berlin classic protein skimmer and piped that in with a Rio 3100 pump and no hoses it works awesome, and a Rio 2500 as the main supply, the drains run separately and everything has true unions for quick disconnect.
