Just set it up this weekend, it's going to house a N. wennerae ... gotta buy some backing. It's got a red sea nano HOB filter on it and that's about it. Oh and the light is a 32w smartlite that I had laying around (still shopping for appropriate fixutre)

looks good how big is the mantis ive had my 2.5 mantis tank for a few weeks now and my mantis is rather shy. he rarely eats in two weeks hes ate one hermit. however hes still small at just under 2 inches. the aquascaping looks cool i still need a few more pounds of rock to add.

keep me posted as will i so we can share our experiences its hard to find alot of info on care of these interesting fellas. kinda trial and error. love the 32 watts on the tank its insane for 2 gallons!!! good luck

hey the guy who is sending him said it's about 2" or so... that's fine with me, i'll take a baby. do you read the mantis board on reefcentral.com ? and have you seen the lurker's guide to stomatopods? very useful. i think i need some more rocks as well ...
