Dont frown theres no such thing as a brown acro, all it needs is a little TLC to color up good light no nitrates and some supplements.

yep, make sure you use a strontium and molybdenum trace element supplement, high intensity light and good water circulation is necesssary, calcium is also crutial!

It's not confirmed that any of those trace elements actually help with color. The best bet is low nutrient levels. But you already know that, andy! And you know your light is adequate.
