That is an awesome looking tank, but a mandarin? Does it eat prepared foods? i'm sure you're not a noob. just seeing how you could keep up w/ith it in such a small system!

Hey holyherbiness, he eats live brine, but I want to try frozen mysis. Ive had him now for a couple of months. There are a lot of small nooks and cranies he can hide in. When I first set it up I configuered the L.R. for a goby.

lilreef, I have a Coralife 130w power compact(65w actinic, 65w daylight). Works really good, I like the actinic for the evening, and the moonlight rocks!!! I think I paid around $180, but I'm not sure. It's inexpensive compared to MH and VHO lighting.

how do you keep those frogspawns from stinging everything

the green coral at the back right they have swepper tenticals that can stetch up to a foot long what they do they swttp around to sting a coral many times so move him to a differnt tank if i was you

Yup, I should of moved the galaxia because it did sting the $*#& out of my frogspawn. But there are cool new little frogspawn polyps growing! Forgot they are nocturnal!!!
