10" Red Devil Posted March 24, 2005 Whoa how long have you had this setup? I amazed that those gorgs are still alive since they are the non-photosynthetic kind, and usually get covered in algae from a high-light tank such as yours and die. Quote Link to comment
ed212 Posted March 24, 2005 I have my tank set up for 3 yrs. and have the orange / red tree gorgonian over a year. and the blue sea fan for 3 months. also a purple one for 1 year. and the yellow one i just got it 2 days ago. my tank has a good positive history of keeping gorgoian. they actually keep growing new polyps from the tip. so I have to frag them from time to time and glue them on live rock. never have algea problem. I feed them once a day. and do alittle water charge once a week. they're very happy with medium water flow, it's fun to watch them catch food. Quote Link to comment

DRZL-sauras Posted April 5, 2005 Dude where in NY aare you? you go on MR.com. I'd love to see your tank in person for the haters to chill and if you have a frag of the gorgonian whats up son, im from NJ Quote Link to comment
ed212 Posted April 6, 2005 DRZL-sauras: what's Mr.com? I don't think it's a problem to frag a small part of the yellow gorgonian to you. in a few weeks. I'm looking for some tiny base rock to glue the frags now. but that thing doesn't do well with long travel. I when back to the lfs where I bought this. and the one they have was already have most of it's skin / polyps pill off. do you live close to the city? email me for information. edwardli18@hotmail.com Quote Link to comment
