I know alot of people are looking for a cheap moonlight solution for their Nano's. I posted this in a thread but thought it'd be good to add it here aswell.

Note: This example is wired in SEQUENCE as apposed to PARALLEL.

Thanks for taking your time to draw this.

 

Why would you want a voltage drop to the second resistor wiring in series? Why not just wire in parallel? Unless your transformer cannot supply enough current.

I initially wired them in parallel, but they were too bright for the look i wanted to achieve. It was a question of either using resistors with a greater resistance or just wiring them in sequence. As it turned out, wiring them in sequence gave me exactly the look i wanted to achieve. I'll try and post a photo in my gallery of the result.....

what would be cheaper -should I buy the kit from nanotuners or go this route-I don't have a transformer? Thanks, B.Todd
