thank you so much! He's definitely a very social cat! Anyone who walks in the house...he's up in your face meowing and purring! Most people think he's some other breed because he's not the typical colors of a siamese but he's the ancient look of siamese cats.

Cute lilac point :) most people think of seal points when they think of siamese. We used to have a seal point...wasn't the most friendly cat...but that was actually due to something...we had to have him put down when he was 16 because of kidney failure. BTW...8 is absolutely not old at all!...most cats live into their teen years (unless they are outdoor cats...) Anyway...does he have the typical siamese meow? BTW your weimeraner is a GORGEOUS dog! My aunt wants one...but they are going to wait until their older german shorthair dies as they don't think it would be fair to him to bring a puppy into the house (plus they just had a baby and I don't think it would be fair to a puppy....). Anyway......beautiful animals!!!

Beatiful Cat!!! I used to have a siamese years ago , she was very cool. She had that typical siamese meow..I have 5 cats now the oldest , a female calico whose name is Rocky , is 21 years old.

awwe...sorry to hear about your cat stinaUIUC! Yes...he has the typical siamese meow...and it's constantly heard throught out the house day and night. He even meows for no reason till somebody comes up and pets him! :) actually that was somebody else's picture of their weimeraner. I own 5 goldens and that's it for dogs! Vyger...I hope my cat lives till he's in his 20's! it would be so hard to lose him!

Haha...doesn't sound to me like he meows for no reason...sounds like he meows for attention...lol My 8 month old kitten meows at random...I honestly can't figure out why she's meowing most of the time...although a lot of the time its because she got stuck on something b/c she's the dumbest cat alive....lol As far as the weimeraner...I thought it was your dog...lol My family has a 13 year old goldie :) She's still going strong although she's covered in fatty lymphomas.....lovely things....she's all lumpy...lol

Stina....what kind of kitten is it? I've always been a cat person but my mother is a dog lover and she specializes in goldens. Our oldest is 12 and she's holding up for now but we know she doesn't have much time on her. We actually lost one about a yr and a half ago..she was 13 and a lot of tumors. It was extremely hard for my dad since she was my dad's dog. He made a vow to the family that as soon as the rest of them die..no more dogs because he just can't stand the heartache it brings. We actually own the 2nd top female dog in the country as far as goldens go. She's a second time champion and my mother shows her. as soon as I can get the whole dog family together for one big picture...I'll be posting it up here...so look for that! Take Care!

Sorry to hear about the losses :( Cassie is 13 as I said..and she actually did have a cancerous tumor removed at one point...but it looks as though all of her lumps now are just the fatty lymphomas which are really nothing...she's really very healthy for her age...although she now has a condition (that I can't remember the name of) where one side of her face (mostly her eye...but the rest of that side is affected to a slight degree) is all droopy. It's a nerve thing that the cause is usually unknown of and happens to be fairly common in goldies. That's cool that you have the 2nd top female! Very cool :) Definitely get some pics up! My kitten is a mutt...lol She was a 6 week old stray with worms, bacteria, and diarrhea before my adopted her for me from a program that had just found her the night before....i.e. she hadn't even been vetted...and therefore was very icky and expensive with the vet bills...lol At any rate, she's not really your typical dlh...she has sort of semi long hair on her body and long fluffy hair on her ridiculously long tail.....and the fact that she's grey makes her look like a squirrel...lol Here's a crappy pic of her in a rare peaceable moment with my roomie's cat... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v50/StinaUIUC/c6f585b3.jpg and here's a pic of her with my dog....and no they aren't killing eachother...they're playing...lol http://image16.webshots.com/17/6/54/94/190465494VOTetQ_fs.jpg

awwwe..your kitty is sooo cute! I actually gotta a pic of one of my dogs play fighting with the cat too! My mother found my cat at a vet's hospital where she was working...some lady brought him in saying that she couldn't keep him for her husband had cat allergies and we were blessed that day with him coming home to us. My cat (his name is Mr. Kitty) doesn't have all of his shots..he only has a rabies shot so I've been on my mother about getting some shots for him..since we live out in the country now..and who knows what can be tracked in. He's an indoor cat at all times but our shoes can track in some pretty nasty stuff every once in a while! lol For the life of me..I can not get all these dogs together in one pic. one runs and they all run! lol so I'll keep trying to get them in one pic for ya!

lol :) I wouldn't worry too much about tracking stuff in...and dogs generally don't have diseases that cats can get. If she won't get more than the rabies don't worry about it too much...although of course it would be best to have them all. Remind her that vaccines aren't very expensive...and she can just wait to get them until she needs to bring the cat in. You know most people don't bother vaccinating indoor cats at all (....my parents for example...unless they have to bring their cat in for some other reason...which bugs the crap out of me.....). While it is important to get indoor cats vaccinated it's definitely more important to keep the pooches up to date on their shots. Anyway....sorry about running off at the fingers there...lol I'm a pre-vet student....I just get like that sometimes...lol anyway...get that pic!
