Wow, i have been wondering if the twinstar 600e will grow macro algae and coral and you are the first person i have seen do it! 👍 Well done.

Just a quick question, do you get good macro algae growth under that light? And do you think that it will grow coral?

I think the lights will do a great job of growing macro.  Probably not great for coral tho.  Trying out the gorgs (the only coral I will put in here), but can supplement with reef lights if needed.  But I think these gorgs will be OK bc they are pretty hardy.

Great job, just checked out your tank journal. Your tank is one of the best i have seen 👍 Did you make the false wall at the back?

How are the gorgonians under that light? How is the macro algae?

Macroalgae are doing really well.  I'm still waiting and seeing how the gorgs will do, but so far they have been fine (full polyp extension).  These gorgs in particular are closer to the surface in the wild so I figure they don't need as much blue as other coral.

That's good 👍
