A Blue Hippo in a 20 high...

All that and that's all you notice? She was a rescue fish and it was either take her or let the LFS freeze her. She was covered in ich and I set up a QT to get rid of the disease and nursed her back to health over six months. She currently resides in a nice 210.

The tang police are relentless...

sounds like she's in a good place. I would have rescued the fish we had at work, if I could have supported a QT for them . thanks for caring for her.

So, now a list of what you got in there owuld be great :P

Also thanks for not jumping to conclusions on the tang. I understand people can be worried when they see larger fish in small systems but at least ask questions before you go about blasting people.

I get that all the time. I don't often post pictures of my small tank because of the criticism.

Beautiful tank by the way!

Better transfer the fish before she gets it again is my recommendation.

Could you try reading his response before posting?

you put fish in a glass box... they belong in the ocean. But hey I'll keep my tang in my 20L and she will be happy and healthy ;)

So what does this tank look like today? I'm assuming the tang is in the 210, so how long since it's been moved?

The fts was taken in January right before I fragged everything up and moved her. Actually it says exactly when it was taken lol 1/29/16.

Well well lucky you...I am getting a Anneta lionfish for my 14 gallon, and before they even read the whole thing everyone was criticizing me and if they had actually read what I said they would have found out that I was only going to be keeping it for a short amount of time in there (maybe 2 months) till I can get my 40 gallon breeder setup.

Beautiful tank btw though.

Also... damn 2 stars! Is this tank really that terrible lol?

The tank is over crowded. You barely gave enough room for the corals to grow. It seems like you dumped a crap ton of corals in within a short time period. Your bioload has to be atrocious. For newbies it can send a bad message. If i were to mimic this very setup, it would most likely crash on me within 6 months. K.I.S.S. I hate to be blunt, but i'm regretting putting my tank profile on NR for this very matter. I don't think I'm going to find the experienced reefers on NR that I see on R2R or RC.

I know right? Some people can just be aholes when it comes to this thing. Like the guy below you :-). IMO do what you wanna do as long as you take the time to do your homework and understand what different fish and coral need. We all make mistakes but at the end of the day its YOUR TANK.

God the things I want to say to you... People like you are a cancer in this hobby. If you took any time at all to look at my build thread you would realize that I actually SAVE the majority of the corals I put in my tank. I am not the idiot who has money to blow and just dumps a bunch of corals in my tank. I buy the things that are disease ridden, destroyed, and bleached to hell only to restore them to their former glory. I also frag corals that grow quickly and gladly give away any extra pieces I have to help spread this hobby.

I am sorry to be blunt as well but you make me sick. I am not one to be narcissistic but I guarantee you I have worked on more tanks in the past year than you will ever see in your life. Also the people on this forum are some of the most educated and responsible people in this hobby.

People like you are what sends newbies a bad message thinking that all reefers are know it all assholes. If you love R2R and RC so much then go there and never come back. This is a forum full of nothing but supportive people who have amazing tanks and want nothing more but to see their fellow reefer succeed as well.

Also... jealous much?

I just LOL'd all over myself. I didn't know I was talking to Mother Teresa. You might be surprised to hear me say that, I respect your tenacity. Just i'm not going to be fooled. You go about telling yourself whatever, and everyone else.. whatever. Your fish failure is just the beginning. But, maybe for the sake of the hobby and your failures, you'll actually learn something in the long run. Good luck to you. Please don't rebuttal. I could never be jealous of the failures i'm witnessing.

Yeah. I can only hope that one day I can become the fish whisperer you are. It's alright though. Inevitably the cream rises to the top and pieces of shit like you sink to the bottom. Sorry to be so rude but really?

Also your jealousy only inspires me more.
