Cycled

So its just shy of a full month. Got back from a week long trip and every square inch of the tank was covered in Diatoms. Upon testing the water I was surprised to find 0 0 0 across the board for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate. Turns out the Nitrate remover pad actually works. Just to be certain I took a jug of water to be tested at my LFS upon purchasing my CUC and they said my water was perfect as well. I was like great! haven't changed it since I started it!! :D but I did go ahead and get 6 gallons of RODI Saltwater and purchased 5 red tip hermits and 5 assorted snails. They made a huge dent in the diatom bloom. Not quite completely cleaned up so I'm thinking I'm gonna get 5 more of each today and then start with the frags. or maybe a fish.
