i know it is too far back. It's black in color, hard shell, looks like a close zoa with a tube coming out of the middle and something inside the tube.

Vermetid it is then. I've read they aren't extremely bad but can multiply and irritate corals so I super glued it's opening like some sites suggest so I guess it will die soon. Guess the favia it is parked next to will encrust over it eventually. Thanks for the ID.
