LongPig Posted December 23, 2012 Tank is a 40 breeder. He's been in the family about a year now. Thanks Kat! Caronte is that your seahorse in your avatar? Quote Link to comment
thirdchild Posted December 24, 2012 Awesome. I've never seen one alive outside of an aquarium... or sushi restaurant Quote Link to comment
1reefluvr2 Posted December 24, 2012 I had one for two years but everyday i was getting phones calls " your acto got out again". So i had to give him to a bigger tank , figured 300 gallons was still to small for it. Quote Link to comment
LongPig Posted December 24, 2012 I don't think octos trying to escape means their aquarium is too small. They're just inquisitive and need a tight fitting lid. Was yours a cold water species? Warm water species don't live two years and don't get as big. Quote Link to comment
