just added the blue back ground

I always think that black backgrounds are the better looking. But every now and then I see a certain shade of blue background that really reminds me of the ocean at a certain depth and it looks really nice.

i wanted my tank to be different.. everyone uses black, so i went with blue

Looks like you're in need of some coral or macroalgea to pretty up that rock! I think you're ready, your tank looks beautiful. I really like the big cave front and center on the bottom and all the little holes throughout the structure.

Thanks.. trying to be patient like everyone tells me and wait a couple of more weeks til learn more of the chemistry side of a reef tank.. mean while i have been browsing different beginner corals online! kinda excited to see how it will turn out!

nope.. its a AquaC Remora protein skimmer with a cobalt mj 1200 pump

Blue is pretty... also, you do have extra shells for all those hermits right? lol. Or you might end up with way less hermits at some time along the line.. I think your scape is amazing though!
