Bummer on all those aiptasia, but man, how long have you been growing that monti cap? And the acro colony at the top? Those are really impressive

I swear to god if you can get your hands on healthy, gulf-caught Peppermint Shrimp , they decimate aptasia. Today when I go in, I will throw a rock with aptasia on it in the peppermint bay, and take a video of the carnage. Aptasia is getting worse every year it seems. I have some popping up in the back of my biocube and I am going to add one as well. I got a lemon with the last one. I should have bought a few, seems to work better like that.

Berghia nudibranchs will only eat aiptasia. I'd get a couple of those and they will gobble them up.

I've tried pepp shrimps before, but once they get a taste of frozen shrimp.... fugettaboutit!

I think ill look into the nudi. Thanks for the tip.

The last peppermint was gone the day after being introduced. Hawkfish probably made a snack of him...

Stunning growth! After seeing the sps colony on the top I had to see the growth rate you were getting. It's really nice to see a tank with actually colonies not little frags everywhere

I've had great success with Peppermint Shrimp. Carnage is definately the right word to use!
