jfarabaugh Posted May 8, 2012 no flow and no heater = death real quick. Is that the experiment? how long they can live without flow and heat? Quote Link to comment
timothymarsh Posted May 8, 2012 Natural style flow is achieved by air pump (water is moving well in the small bucket), temp in the room and water has held steady around 76/77. Light is more than enough (polyps are all extended well). I think I covered all the bases. Sorry for the lack of info. Quote Link to comment
buddythelion Posted May 8, 2012 Honestly... you're just asking for a flaming from the people on here. People are quick to flame now and I'm sure you've upset a lot of people posting this. Quote Link to comment

pschom Posted May 9, 2012 I hate when people care about 'upsetting' people on an internet forum. Who gives a crap? I'll offend people all I want with my Yellow Tang in my 30 cube and this dudes Acropora in his plastic Dixie cup. LOL! Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted May 9, 2012 I think a tang would go great in the bucket as well! Quote Link to comment
chucktdbm321 Posted May 9, 2012 Yea really it is an "animal" but come on people throw out clippings daily. Interested see how long this last Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted May 10, 2012 I say about 1 month for them to loose all there color at the exact setup you have now and another month or less for the experement to "END"... Im not trying to be mean, but SPS need some realy good water quality, lighting, strong curent... Im just saying. You need to start a thread with pics for this experiment to do this right and so you can monitor and update with changes so we can folow. Not just a pic. Quote Link to comment
