inTank Posted April 9, 2012 No smell. I have a thing for jet fuel so I wish there was one. Quote Link to comment
doppelganger Posted April 9, 2012 maho beach? Was there last year and it was quite awesome. Tho when the big planes take off, everything gets blown around like mad... including sand getting whipped at you. Quote Link to comment
seabass Posted April 9, 2012 I'm going to put up a sign for my little gobies... D A N G E R Powerhead blasts of wavemaker jets can cause severe water disturbances resulting in being sucked into and/or shot from the powerhead. Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted April 9, 2012 ^ that The pilot of that jet was totally screwing with them, as many do. Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted April 9, 2012 Dum dum, she's lucky that wasn't a 747. We saw one take off, amazing Quote Link to comment
basser1 Posted April 9, 2012 Or more importantly.... Who was the dum dum that decided to put an air strip so close to a beach???? Quote Link to comment
seabass Posted April 9, 2012 Yeah, saw that on some morning show today. Darwin award winner. See everybody run to see if the wall was alright? Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted April 10, 2012 No way. I was there the same day, must have happened in the AM and we just missed that. F&%#. He was a lot closer than any other jet I saw take off. He also revved it up much more and longer than any other pilot of a larger jet does. The smaller jets would screw with you but don't have the power to blow you that far. Dammit pissed I missed that.
