Is this red slime algae? What is the best way to get rid of it? I have 29g tank with ph 8.0 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10 salinity 1.025. Tank is a little over a month old with a pair of clowns, CUC, Randall's goby, 2 peppermint shrimp and a yellow pistol shrimp. Right now Im using stock PC lights but have panorama pros en route. Thanks!

it's cyano. increase flow, do more water changes to drop the trates to 0 and check phosphates.

Cyano.. Increased flow doesen't help - It's due to poor waterquality or detritus builddup in the exact area. If the last is the case, then flow will help alot.

Thanks everyone. I didn't have much flow other than stock so I added more flow and upped my CUC. I removed what I could by hand with water change. I'm going to see how this works and go from there.
