devilsadvocate Posted January 1, 2012 is this even enough to grow coral? specs say leds are .25 watts. so this fixture is only 3 watts total. Quote Link to comment
Evanski9 Posted January 1, 2012 The fixture is not made for corals. Dude return this. For the 65$ you paid for this. You could of got a par bulb and had a nice light Quote Link to comment
Formula462 Posted January 1, 2012 Oh yeah I didn't even look at specs. This is a single bright LED system. Not very strong at all. Quote Link to comment
Bishop Posted January 1, 2012 the stains in your underwear may be brighter than this Quote Link to comment
Aquanist Posted January 19, 2012 Bishop has flesh.. err.. blacklight for stain detail? Quote Link to comment
Grendel0501 Posted June 12, 2012 The light can grow coral, I've seen the smaller version on a 8 gallon tank full of softies. The coral coloring was very colorful, probably because the unit has alot more blue than white. The smaller version was slightly brighter than the Innovative Marine 4w Skkye light.
