Great Salt Lake... Salinity was about 1.120ish? The scale on my refractometer only goes to 1.075. And yes it tastes like salt... Table salt to be exact.

And no it's not in/on my tank so they can disqualify me for that. If it helps I was there collecting food and rock for my tank (but also to launch rockets). Anyway, where is anyone else gonna appreciate that pic for what its worth.

Thats an one of the salt company's "evorapation ponds". They flood the area w/water from the Great Salt Lake, wait for it to evaporate then scoop up the salt. Talk about a racket.

oh lol they have those here too, it just takes way longer for the ponds to evaporate (like 7yrs I think?)

I saw a bunch of them on an airplane going across country. I took pictures of them with my phone because I know that Squared likes salty things.
