Salt Creep vs. LEDwholesalers

I can say this much about LEDs getting killed by salt creep... They make some pretty colors when they blow up.

Anyway- I'm thinking maybe I should take down this pic, and put this in it's place:

You got a sprinkler system in your sump? Or how is that possible? (applies to both pics)

yep, some plastic over them, saves the day. as much as they cost, you can't keep replacing them all the time.

Damn. That makes me want to cover the new Ai Sols we put up at work....that would be a costly blowout.

Yeah we have had that happen to a few at work. Although I've never seen salt creep from evap quite that bad? You must have had it pretty close to the water line.

Nevermind I forget that sumps get more humid, I can totally see that happening.

The bulb is maybe 4 inches above the waterline... And I have a TON of micro bubbles in my fuge. Check my sig links for pics. Other PAR bulbs hold up just fine since they have optics taking the splash.

@Aquanist- technically, yeah, my return line is all sprinkler system parts.

So which pic do you guys think I should use, before voting time starts? Haha.

The pic with the light. That's my vote. The salt creep on the light is unique. I think that would be a stronger contender.
