For the record... THIS is aiptasia :)

I got to watch a piece of cyclopeeze travel to it's stomach today... I'll gladly sell the experience for $10... cyclopeeze included in the price... no takers?

Absolutely aiptaisia!

Butterfly fish or peppermint shrimp have been known to eat them. Also try joe's juice, a high conc. mix of kalk / water, vinegar water, boiling water, etc!

Most people hate em, some love em... they don't do much, but can sting anything next to them and are not very pretty IMHO!

I'd say kill em all!

The peps can't eat them once they get too big, though. a butterfly fish does wonders, but get rid of it once the aptasia is gone and replace it w/ a shrimp or 2... else it will eat all other corals that resemble aptasia... :-

Watch those butterfly fish though if you have anenomes in the tank... after aptasia for breakfast they could make lunch out of an unsuspecting anenome :)
