Metallic Star Polyps

A shot of my metallic star polyps under my new custom LED rig. They're loving the light!

EDIT: Looks a little pixelated here, but if you click it and pop open the full shot it's nice and crisp :)

Appreciate it! Being colorblind I love hearing things like nice color :-D

gonna guess you are red/green colorblind since you called it metallic star instead of green star. which means you prolly don't see the look of perfection.

Actually I have a strange mutation. Something like 1:5000000 chance. The cones in my eyes are misshapen, causing them to only pick up one part of the color spectrum. I can see red, orange, and yellow, but not blue, green, indigo, or violet.

but those are all of the colors in your picture lol. so all you see in the picture is the part of that acan coral? and what color is the rest of the picture to you?

Think of it like a black & white movie, but everything red, orange and yellow is in color.

Yeah that's what they normally look like. No special lighting or anything. Just my LEDs during their normal afternoon brightness. I've got plenty more shots in my build thread so you can see just how bright these guys are. And if you still don't believe me, there are other N-R that have seen them in person and can vouch for me :) The only downside seems to be that they are incredibly slow growing.
