Nice tank and stand....Use the drapes wisely.... Sunlight=Algae

me gusta. +1 on the algae but the coral will enjoy the natural light and uv if you open the window. (glass filters out uv)

I also have my tank near by a window and I was ALWAYS told to keep it away from sunlight; dont know why A few days ago my wife left the draps open and OMG when the sunlight hit the tank my frog spawn and Duncan swelled up to about triple its normal size; they LOVE it. so now every morning I let the sun hit the tank. even the fish seem to love it. Been doing this for about 3 weeks now and no algae problems at all.
