Male Lyretail (Pseudanthias squamipinnis)

Was this a shot not long after the lights came on or not? The only time I see the stripes on my anthias is at night or right when the lights turn on.

steely185: actually, this shot was taken in the middle of the photo period. this is my first time owning anthias so I dunno what the phase is when it comes to female to male change. I think the male I have just turned male and on his way to becoming a really nice one. I might be wrong though. LoL
