poidog reeflux bulbs do this to blues/purple IME. When I ran 400w reeflux my blues were as deep as this photos. I would definitely say no tweaking here.

Well its really just the Palmer's mille that's responsible for the color. I thought some of my other deep blue milles were close to the Palmers in coloration, but now that I have the real thing there is a huge difference. This one makes my other milles look dull.

And those are 10k bulbs. I wanna switch to better bulbs soon.

Mine get way more blue when exposed to high light. they are crazy fuzzy though and unless your lucky enough to have blue polyps they tend to block some of the blue base from view.
