Should be a little over a half gallon. I love it, I may pick one up for my 4G.

I did not see any bigger ones (I certainly looked after the thought came to mind) But I know that some walmart stores selection varies. Keep in mind that this is designed to hold 22 spinnerbaits. The manufacturer is Plano Molding Co. (www.planomolding.com)

Are you planning any functionality for the sump, or is it just a novelty item?

I don't see why it wouldn't be functional. It would just be a Refugium used at scale. With a little modification I could run floss, chaeto, and maybe some chemi pure. I am now drawing out plans to figure out the best way to enclose both the 2.5g (maybe 5g), the fuge, and lighting. If only they made working skimmers that small... lol

the oceanic biocube skimmer might work (i have it and it is awesome) or you can make one fome a bottle, i know you wer joking but why not have one?

I have a BC29 and thought about getting the skimmer for it, but have heard nothing but bad things about it. Do you actually get any skimmate collected with it?
