My Mantis

Thanks! I've had him since February, when I first got him he was missing both raptorial appendages, but has since molted a few times and grew them back.

Awesome photo! I hope one day to keep one of these exciting creatures.

hes gonna be hugggeee in a couple of months

a friend of mine has kept a mantis for at least three years now. has anyone else had such good luck? i read that they arent supposed to live that long in captivity.

Not sure how long they live in captivity but I believe I read somewhere that in the wild they only live about 5 years.
